Swaraparva is an evening set aside for Hindustani classical vocal in its full form — an alaap that takes its own time, a bandish that opens slowly, and a tabla that answers rather than hurries. No screens, no interval scramble. Just a stage, a tanpura drone, and an audience that came to listen.
Entry is by complimentary pass. Seating is limited to the capacity of the hall, so passes are confirmed in the order registrations come in.
Pt. Sanjeev Abhyankar trained first with his mother, Smt. Shobha Abhyankar, and went on to become one of the closest disciples of Sangeet Martand Pt. Jasraj. His singing is known for its clarity of swara, its patience in the slow movements, and a devotional warmth that carries a full hall without ever being loud.
Doors at 5.30 PM, first note at 6.00 PM sharp. Late entry only between pieces.
A maximum of two passes per registration, so the hall reaches as many listeners as possible.

A khayal is never a solo. The tabla answers, the side rhythm holds the pulse beneath it, the harmonium shadows the line, and a voice between the pieces places each raga in the listener's hands before it begins.

Swaraparva is a complimentary concert — no ticket counter, no price on the door. It reaches a full hall of Pune's classical music audience because a few brands choose to stand behind it.

Yes, at the venue. It fills quickly, so arrive with time in hand or use the metro — Vanaz or Anand Nagar, about ten minutes away.
No photography or recording during the performance. It carries to the stage and disturbs both the artists and the audience around you.
